The Society
Damian Martiz
Founder
Spends more time than is reasonable chasing down the story behind a design before he'll sign off on it. Started the Society on the belief that the world is older, wilder, and stranger than we were taught, and that a shirt ought to prove it. Still editing copy well past when he should've stopped.
Helena Teira
Co-founder
Keeps the Society honest — on quality, on deadlines, on which folklore is actually worth printing. Holds the view that a garment should last exactly as long as the story it carries. The reason anything here ships on time.
Han the Dog
Head of Quality Control
Approves every sample by lying on it first. Extensive field experience in doorways, couches, and whichever patch of floor gets the best afternoon light. Has never filed a return, mainly because he cannot read the policy.
Made for every explorer
Our pieces are woven from fine cotton and old stories—built to last, not just to be worn. We believe in quality, curiosity, and creating apparel that feels discovered rather than designed. Strange, storied, and inspired by the wild corners of the world, each piece belongs to the same old, weird archive.
Craft, considered
Quality and craft are what we care about most—making pieces built to last, not just to be worn once and forgotten. Every design connects back to the old, wild world we keep returning to, and the stories we can't stop collecting.
Woven with care
Carefully chosen materials and steady standards guide everything we make. It's about doing things properly—attention to detail, and a commitment to crafting pieces worth keeping.
Trade program
We work with shops, curators, and fellow keepers of the strange to offer trade pricing and project support. If you'd like to join the society's trade program, get in touch below.
